Slide #6

silde

"This is another Kerr buckle, in two pieces and with a closed (soldered) back. The stamping process and the soldered flat backing results in a hollow piece that is remarkably light in weight for its size. Even though it is about 4" wide and 2 ¼" high, this piece weighs almost nothing. In keeping with the popularity of fantastic or grotesque creatures, it is a grotesque double ram's head with eyes of red glass to heighten the dramatic design. The mark is on a "button", shown in the lower right corner of the slide, soldered to the reverse of the buckle."
