Slide #6

silde

"This is another Kerr buckle, in two pieces and with a closed (soldered) back. The stamping process and the soldered flat backing results in a hollow piece that is remarkably light in weight for its size. Even though it is about 4" wide and 2.25" high, thispiece weighs almost nothing. In keeping with the popularity of fantastic or grotesque creatures, it is a grotesque double ram's head with eyes of red glass to heighten the dramatic design. The mark is on a "button", shown in the lower right corner of the slide, soldered to the reverse of the buckle."
