Slide #22

silde

"A belt pin by LaPierre, which was another Newark-based silver manufacturer at the turn of the century. It is in the shape of an Indian head, with a closed back and a vertical pin shaft. The mark looks like the British symbol for pound sterling. This piece has exceptionally high relief - it is very three-dimensional - and is about 2.75" high."
