"This Scofield & de Wyngaert two-piece buckle featuring mythical winged dragons with red stones is also illustrated in the Daniel Low 1901 catalog. Scofield & deWyngaert was a small manufacturer in Newark and was active from 1904 to 1922. This buckle is of stamped silver with a soldered back, and is about 4" wide."
