"This belt pin has two fake "tongues" to create the illusion that it is really a buckle. It is stamped, gilded silver with a soldered back and is about 1 ½" wide. The design is a a mythical creature in a heart shape and it was made by Simons Bros. & Co. of Philadelphia, active from 1840 – 1908."
