"Although Daniel Low was a well known Salem, Mass. retailer and maker of souvenir spoons, I know of little jewelry with this firm's mark. This one-piece buckle is rather simple in design, featuring a laurel leaf wreath with a bow at the top. It is stamped, with a soldered flat back, and is about 2" high. I don't know if Daniel Low actually manufactured this buckle, or simply retailed it."
