Sturdy, 1 unidentified , Roden Brothers, Hemsley

"#1 Maker is Sturdy. No satin name either. Top of box is engine turned with a cartouche for the large "M" initial. Push button closure. The mark says - a"tree" , sterling. #2 Maker is Sturdy. No Satin name either. Top of box is engine turned with no monogram or cartouche for one. Push button closure. The mark is the same as #1- a"tree" , sterling. #3 Roden Brothers- Top is engine turned and I think maybe a monogrammed has been removed by previous owner. No name on satin. The marks on the bottom are- 925, "R", Lion, sterling. #4 Hemsley's box- Satin reads- Est. 1870- Hemsley's Montreal- The satin also has a crest with lion on a shoe, and then another lion and an"R" and "H" on each side of the crest. A reading in French says?-" 100 jours prest". Box is engine turned on the raised corners on top of box in a flower and leaves.

The upper rim is engine turned as well. The top is smooth . It has a "snap" closure but no push button. #5 Unidentified box. No satin name. The mark reads- sterling with a "key" below. Can't find the "key" mark anywhere. Smooth all over. No monogram."
