Something called the "Big Flea Market" is coming to the Nashville market next weekend (19, 20 Nov.). It will actually be in Franklin, TN a little town south of Nashville. The Big Flea Market has markets in several other cities and appear to be expanding to the Nashville area. The regular Nashville Flea market is the fourth weekend of each month and that one is held just off the downtown of Nashville at the Fairgrounds. The Nashville used to have several good markets in the fall that specialized in country items, but those have mostly gone. I really do not know what this market willl be like. Another Flea Market this coming weekend is in Belleville, Illinois a little town just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. This market has been going on for as long as I can remember and is always the third weekend of the month. IP: Logged |
