I have a serving fork and spoon with a mark that I've never seen before. Is anyone familiar with this mark?

We were at the Pier Show yesterday and saw this very nice and substantial salad set. We remain curious as to the maker. Does anyone else have or seen silver by this maker?

I can't make out the initials or name. What are they?

The mark looks like an F in script followed by a period and then Co.

My guess is that it is by one of the several American craftsmen creating items for Jensens during the war. Could the initial be a J? I am not suggesting that this is a Jensen mark. The flower has that Jensen look to it.

Is there a list of all the manufacturers that produced silver for Jensen? As always I am interested in how it was made.... it would be nice to see a side and back view of the spoon.

Check out Ebay item # 931717804 for another example by this maker. It has similar Jensenesque features. They attribute the item, Candlesticks, to Fessendon (sic). This I believe to be a leap of...?

According to the website 925.com, this is the mark of Fara Co. NYC.

"Active c.1960-1970, Mark used in the workshop of Jean's Silversmiths, a small custom shop."

Interesting bit about Jean's Silversmiths. They are occasional customers of ours, though only in the last few years.

I recently had a consignment client who had a pair of candlesticks to sell that I was sure from the photograph were Jensen. However, when I saw the sticks in person, the mark on the sticks was for Fara Co. They were very good quality just not marked Jensen. I found 2 auction results for these sticks at the Jensen marked ones sold for about $xxxx and the Fara Co. marked candlesticks only made $xxx. Did Jean's copy Jensen designs and produce their own products?
