This is one of my favorites:
By William Hollingshead of Philadelphia. Does anyone have any examples to share? Or interesting information about Hollingshead? I'd also be interested in anyone's estimate of when this particular spoon was made. I have a strong opinion, but I want to see what others here think. IP: Logged |

I really love this spoon and the ladle. His mark and design are so English I would mistake it for such at first blush and if I didn't know the maker as American would be looking for a provincial maker, especially being double struck. IP: Logged |

Thank you Scott for the pictures, and I appreciate the kind words, Roger! It's certainly a nice example and I am glad to have found it! IP: Logged |
