Bob Schulhof Posts: 194 Registered: Apr 99	posted 04-15-2000 05:51 PM The new masterwork "Tiffany Silver Flatware" by William Hood reports that Tiffany offered both carbon steel and plated blades prior to the first world war. In 1917 the "Bluebook" their catalog announced the availability of non rusting blades. These were first intoduced in Sheffield in 1914. The change to French style was independent of the change to SS. Tiffany continued to produce "plain" or blunt blades for most of their patterns, even in SS. IP: Logged
