I found a silver-plate on copper bowl with grapevine trim around the top, but can't seem to find any information on the maker. The bottom of the bowl has the following printed on it: Haddon Plate; below that, an oval depiction of a row of buildings - looks like European-style rowhouses or perhaps small factories; beneath that, E.P.Copper (I understand that part!); then, in tiny letters, something like D.M.Mounts; and finally, the number 1 7 4 7. As you might guess, I am not knowledgable about silver at all, and my research attempts on the internet have been fruitless. I would be very grateful for any information that can be shared in identifying and dating this piece. Thank you. IP: Logged |
