I picked this up at a thrift store this morning. I have no idea what it is or who makes it. The handle is wood.

On the bottom it reads EP (three leaf clover) NS. Made in England. Any ideas on who made it and it's age. I know what the EPNS stands for.

I'll try to attach a photo, if it doesn't work I'll add the link to my picturetrail.com album.

It appears to be a sauce boat. It is silverplate, probably from the period 1930 to 1960. This was meant to sit over a candle; there would have been some sort of holder with a flame unit beneath it. Very useful little thing.
