Again don't know much about this. I just collect pieces that catch my eye.

Anyway this about 13.5 inch knife is marked 1847 Rogers Bros.

The blade is not marked stainless even has a few minor rust spots to the blade not sure if its plate or what?

I just want to know what type of knife is this as you can see the blade has a tooth like edge any help ?

Thanks

Arthur

Tt\hanks for the input.

I have finally found out that it is the 1847 Rogers Bros anniversary pattern. The handle is hollow and I think plate since there is no other marks I can find. So far it is definitely a large knife and like I said I am not very knowledgeable about these things however I do keep trying.

Thanks again

Anniversary came out in 1922 and commemorates the 75th anniversary of 1847 Rogers Bros. The pattern was made into the early 1930's. It is usually in good shape.
