Dear collectors,

I hope that someone can help me determ a plate.

On Queensfeast in the Netherlands I bought some things for 5 euro, 6 plates, a coffeepot, a sugar bowl, a milk jug and also a very nice Gero plate. The little plates dates from 1917 and are from Pilkington. The Gero plate has the same monogram as the little plates and I think/hope that they are from the same period. I wonder, who the designer of the Gero scale is, Copier, Eisenloffel or someone else? The marks are E in a round then Gero and also in a round 90, then in an other place also a 7.

Hi Misty,
My research indicates that "E" refers to the year of manufacture. "P" is 1949. Counting backwards "E" would be 1938. I thought the 7 might have been "Z" but it seems clearly to be 7.
Sue.

Hi Misty.

These are silver plated items. What is the reason why you think they were made in 1917? They look to me as if they not be as old as that.
