Slide #52

silde

"This two piece buckle is stamped and hollow with a soldered back, but is of heavier guage silver than Kerr or Unger Bros. used. The motif is a nicely detailed floral shape and the struts which hold the belt are marked with a roman numeral XIV. I have seen several buckles by this unknown maker, all in a floral motif, all with roman numeral markings on the back, and all with the "U" shape clasp, but none with a makers mark. This buckle is about 2.75" wide."
