Hi,

Yes I am new to the Group Paul L recommended joining and great info so Far!!

I have a few questions first on some demi Spoons...The Marks are odd...The first mark is an S within a triangle with either 2 MM's below or 2 ww's above it..the next is oval has the number 3 then a lady's head facing left with a bonnet on and the letter W after it!

Then the other is a pic of a Redd and Barton flatware pattern I am trying to identify. I hope the links work...

Any help would appreciated!

Thanks,
Roger

Well....

The mark of the woman's head, with the 3 to the left and a W to the right, is an 800 standard mark for Poland(!), used from about 1920 to 1931. The WWS mark is likely the maker's mark, but impossible to track down.

Your Reed & Barton pattern is named "Petite Fleur", and was introduced in 1961.

By the way, just last weekend I encountered another piece of Polish silver with the same marks as yours. Small world!
