My name is Marvin H. McMurrey.

Between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, my River Oaks home was burglarized and the following items were stolen. These items are all sterling silver and while I have some silver plated items, they were not disturbed. Only sterling was taken indicating the knowledge of the individual or individuals participating in the burglary. Both River Oaks police and the Houston Police Department are investigated the burglary, however, I am offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who has information that will lead to the return of the stolen goods. The items and their pictures are included with this letter.

1. An Irish silver Epergne dating back to the 1740. There is an inscription on the bottom of the top piece which can be seen in the picture. This is a one-of-a-kind Epergne. The Silver Smith markings are also shown.

2. Five-piece tea service with tray (very heavy) of the Fontaine pattern. International Silver Company is the manufacturer.
   

3. Twelve-place setting plus serving pieces of flat silver. Each place setting consisted of seven pieces of the Fontaine pattern also manufactured by the International Silver Co.
   

4. Francis I kettle with stand.
   

5. Set of 12 pearl-handled cheese knife and fork set in a small black box purchased two months ago from Bryan and Scott an antique store in Colorado Springs. Picture not included.
