FWG Posts: 845 Registered: Aug 2005	posted 11-13-2005 04:52 PM I noticed in Scott's response to a question in the New Members' Forum that one of the links is to a Forum entitled "Collecting Place Settings" (no postings since Nov 2004). I gather this is a closed Forum? It shows up in no list of Forums that I get, including the selection list in the search function. Is it included when one searches "All open forums and archives"? Looks like it could have some useful information.... Is there a list of closed Forums? (e.g., I've noticed "Professional Silver Appraisal" flash by when doing a global search) If these are accessible, such a list could be a useful addition, perhaps to the FAQs. IP: Logged

Most often a closed forum's posts/treads are broken up and relevant posts are redistributed throughout the SSF. For example the Jensen Forum, The Canadian Silver Forum. These forum's post have been redistributed. Then there are other forums that have been closed and the posts/threads haven't been redistributed. We have let these languish in the index because ya never know when info will prove interesting. IP: Logged
