What silver object is on your holiday wish list this year?

I myself am foregoing a list as we are moving right after Christmas (but I am secretly hoping someone still gets me something!)

Hi Doc!

My wish is for the Gorham lettuce fork I passed up years ago (no money). It looked like a spider web, way cool, haven't seen one since. I think the pattern on the handle was Strasbourg.

May you have a "silver lining" in your holiday. Whisper your wishes in your husbands ear. My wish for you & yours is to have a Merry Christmas & a most Happy & Prosperous New Year!

Stay Safe.

A large and musty box of old letters and handbills and tradecards from Philly and New Haven and Providence and Boston and ... wait -- what's that under the tree?

What else but another teapot - after all I have two hands for two teacups.

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

The two London Goldsmiths Hall Registers missing since at least 1863 with the Largerworker entries 1756 - 1773 and the Smallworkers 1739-1756.

Failing that a young beautiful blonde wishing to give me her silver buckle collection in exchange for my sexual favours.

A Happy, if unlikely, Christmas !

Ok boys, I am getting to the age where I won't even join in ...back to the subject. I would like to find just one of these (please!) under the tree - a Shiebler serving spoon, a simple colonial cup or a Britannia piece of hollowware.

And Doc if Santa did find you at your new place what would he bring you?

And for me, keeping to the straight & narrow...

I'd like, not an object for a change, but the chance to meet and say "thank you" to all of you who contribute so generously to these fascinating forums, sharing your knowledge and insights so freely.

And to June and Scott, I'd like to be able to share another bottle of wine or two with you, and to let you know what a delight your site provides for so many of us.

Merry Christmas all!

I think we all appreciate the efforts of both the moderators and the contributors for this truly great site. It's what the Internet should be, but seldom is.

A very Happy Christmas and New Year to All. And thanks for a good time in 2007.
