It is with sadness in my heart that I report that a great mentor and friend to many of us passed away this last week at the age of 85. Oppi's sincere kindness and willingness to share his vast knowledge will be sorely missed. Fred IP: Logged |

I didn't know him, but I have had for some time his excellent manual "Metal Techniques for Craftsmen," first published about 40 years ago, and later republished. According to the bio on the jacket, both he and his wife were even then accomplished and multitalented individuals. IP: Logged |
