There is a member who collects silver Skulls. Every once and while when we see a silver skull, we let the member know (privately). In October, for Halloween, lets remember this thread. smile eek

A Macabre Mouthful.

Combining the imagery of death with an instrument used to nourish is an artistic juxtaposition found in the hand-crafted spoons by Dallas artist Pinky Diablo, aka Tom Sale. He has taken vintage silverplate and sterling silver spoons of various sizes and creatively turned them into Skull Spoons, or Skoons, if you will.

"Death by soup" brings to mind the old show Mary Hartman Mary Hartman.

I think it would be great fun to serve soup at dinner sometime and provide these for the spoons. You could have great fun watching the soup dribble down everyone's chins as it drained through all of the holes. smile
