Today we were informed by SSF members, dragonflywink & dognose, of the passing of member 2209patrick. We didn't know who 2209patrick was until today but his occasional participation at the Silver Salon Forums was always helpful and greatly appreciated.

D. Patrick "Pat" Strominger, 57, of Rockford passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 after a sudden illness. Born April 19, 1955 in Rockford; the son of Charles T. and Mary M. (Nester) Strominger. (David) Landmesser of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, Penny A. Govert of Beloit, Wisconsin, Betty Strominger of Rockford, Debbie L. (Roy) Thompson of Gold Canyon, Arizona and Cheryl C. (Donald R.) Johnson of Rockford; numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, brother, Jack and brother-in-law, Gerald Govert.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 8616 West State Road Winnebago, IL 61088.
