middletom Posts: 467 Registered: May 2004	posted 05-23-2012 08:44 PM I have to announce that Frank Follansbee, who has been the hollowware spinner and assembler and polisher passed away today. Over the weekend he was stricken with a brain annurism. He was in his late fifties and had worked for Towle silver as a spinner before coming to us about twenty years ago. He leaves behind his wife, Robin and daughter Danielle. He will be missed here at ONC for his abilities and great personality. middletom IP: Logged

Please extend to his family the condolences from June & me and from everyone at the Silver Salon Forums. We don't think we ever met Frank Follansbee. Did he put his silversmith's mark on the holloware he made? Might you have a photo of him spinning silver? IP: Logged

He did not have a mark but he did do a good deal of silver spinning. I do not have a picture of him spinning, but do now wish I had one. middletom IP: Logged
