We have had an inquiry from a periodical about doing "Exploring the Best of the Silver Salon Forums" as a regular column. Or it could be entitled differently. The thinking is that there is a lot of interesting SSf stuff to highlight, interesting SSF subjects that need a second look, to create a symbiosis between the periodical and the Silver Salon Forums. The column would require one or more editor(s) who are SSF members (that get by-line credit). The column editor(s) would be responsible for selecting which past and/or present posts and/or threads are mentioned and summarized. The publication would include the link(s) to the thread/posts. We see this as a community effort.
Before the first column is published the periodical will want six columns ready to publish. What do you think? We'd like members to volunteer as editors or team editors. Anyone care to step up? IP: Logged |
