[ coin-silver-′itĭs ] (noun) acute or chronic addiction to early American silver, usually accompanied by periods of doubting sanity, distracted behavior and swings from euphoria to depression - often resulting in decline of banking reserves. Advanced symptoms can include binge book buying and relentless questioning of peers. Hard to shake once afflicted. It appears I have this.
