First, thank you to Silver Magazine for a wonderful July/August issue. I was particularly interested in Christine Erratt's article on Silversmithing in Australia. Part of that article introduced me to a word I had not known before but was very pleased to learn. Rebus was used in relation to silversmith marks that use pictures to represent their names. This reminded me of a past thread about silversmith Wilhemina Stephan who marked her work with a billy club (for Wilhemina) and Stephan. I love that clever usage.

Two words for today for me! Thanks!
After some looking I found Ms. Erratt's book for sale from Australia; shipping cost is about the same as the book.
