I am looking for the silver charm company that stamps the back of their different charms with SJC inside a simple sunburst design. If anyone can tell me who manufactures these charms I would be very grateful. Having to buy the charms from middlemen is making me nuts.
Thanks for any help!

A quick guess is the SCJ is Silver-Charms-Jewelry based in Oregon.

Wow! Thanks for the fast response.

Unfortunately, that company is not the one. The charms I am looking for are the "old fashioned" charm style and not the Italian charms.

Here is a picture of one of the charms with the maker's mark on the back.

I've just discovered this website. I also have a piece of jewelery with the same hallmark. A gold dolphin frolicking in a silver sea. I believe my Grandma Tillie purchased this charm on a trip to Mexico in 1961, along with a treasure trove of wonderful silver pins, earrings, and bracelets. She passed away several years ago, so I can't confirm this info 100%. Maybe someone out there can continue the trail of mystery with this new clue. Along with the sunburst enclosed SJC,there is a silver mark 925 and the gold mark 14k.

Thanks!

I did discover the charm maker. It is company called "Sundancer" in New Mexico. Thanks everyone for your posts!! But now that I found them they will not return my messages, fax, or letter! My rep at another New Mexico charm company told me they are keeping their business at it's current size and have no desire to wholesale their charms to any new retailers. After I heard that I sent the fax saying I did not need credit, they could set minimum orders from me of $5000, blah blah blah, what ever terms they wanted.... and still no reply! So disgusted I just had to vent here. I buy from all the major manufacturers except Sundancer and it hurts my business that I can't compete with other retailers that are able to buy directly from them since I must buy from companies that are middlemen. And I have not found a single reseller that has the full selection.

Aaarrrrghh!

But anyway, thanks again for the help!
