Can anybody help with this?

I have a large silver bangle with the letters RPH anchor I believe for Birmingham UK then a lion and an "a" all in separate boxes. The other side shows Just a lion and "a" I would like to know the date of manufacture and the maker RPH if anybody knows I would appreciate it. I don’t believe it has much age to it.

I have owned it for around 27 years.

Thanks

We really need a photo to be sure. Depending onthe style of the capital "A" and the shape of the stamp in which it is set, the dates could be 1925/6, 1950/1, or 1975. This assumes that the other marks are really those of Birmingham sterling, which can only be varified by a photo.

Just out of curiosity, why do have three jewlry post back to back?

Regards,
Tom

I did try to send a photo last autumn but it didn’t work. Seems quite complicated. The reason I have 3 items is I have been having a sort out of some old jewelry that I haven’t worn for a while, and was intrigued to find out more and 1 piece that I purchased fairly recently.

I think it might be the 1975 mark as that would fit in round about when I was given it as a birthday present. The a is in a square box and is fancy capital "a"

Thanks for your help.

If I get the Photo thing sorted will post to you.

The fancy "A" in the square box is indeed the 1975 date letter.

Sorry, I can't help you with the maker. The sources I use deal with antiques. Despite what my 18-22 year old students would claim, 1975 is not antique!
