I have been fascinated by the jewelry made by Tiffany & Co. in the 1930s, which is amazingly rare. Here is a rather large (over 2" across) brooch I purchased recently online.

It was being advertised as art nouveau, but it is clearly a quasi-Jensen style thing from the 1930s or 40s. All of the Tiffany jewelry of this style that I've seen--and it's not much--is CAST, which is unusual. It's not fake, because it's not worth faking, as far as I can see (it has the factory marks as expected with the lower-case m denoting the long span from 1907-1947 or something like). Anyone seen any more of this? This is the second piece I've gotten online, and it is quite different, tho' of the same general aesthetic, from the other piece.

Is it lame when you reply to your own posts?

Anyway, the post referring to a Tiffany silver brooch in 1962 reminded me that I had another Tiffany silver brooch from the late 1930s...sort of a pseudo-Jensen effort.

It was made in the Newark factory, and is about 2" lengthwise.

I can't imagine that in 1940 this would have sold for more than $10 at Tiffany's.
