I have found a round diamond & small blue stone (diamond shape) stick pin, there is a mark I am still trying to decipher. It is very tiny.

The material could be silver, white gold or platinum. The velvet box reads Henry Nockin Jeweler Est. 1892 343 Fifth Ave. At 34th. Street New York.

The only info I have come across is that there was a jeweler by that name 1910-1925 at 84th st.

If anyone has more info on this jeweler I would greatly appreciate it .

Thank you

Jersey

Jersey, try doing an Internet search:
    "henry nockin" jeweler
Use the quotation marks around the guy's name. You'll find several hits, including an entry in a guide book, a want ad in the Jeweler's Circular for a shop assistant, and a Street scapes column in the NY Times that discusses the building where the jeweler was located in the 1910s-20s, The Alameda, which now houses Edgar's, a beloved neighborhood cafe.

Do post photos if you can, though. I would be really interested in seeing the pin.

PS: One of the hits is an auction. It's for a watch with an inscription on the back:
    Prize Watch
    awarded by
    Henry Nockin
    Slogan Contest

Intriguing! I wonder what the winning slogan was.
