It has been a while since anybody posted here so I thought I would share one of my favorite little pieces, a 1 1/4" long Tiffany 14K gold lingerie pin. Not really what I collect, but I have a thing for miniatures and microscopic hand-engraving.

It's designed as a tiny one foot ruler with numerals and markings down to 1/4". The back is inscribed with the owner's initials and "Christmas 1919" and stamped TIFFANY & CO.

I believe it might be a literal depiction of the "golden rule". I don't know if this was a production design, it's a little odd so it could have been a custom order. Pins like this usually came as pairs, I would like to find the other one!

Very attractive color variations on your pin. One does wonder how many pins like this were made; but they probably were all brought by the same person.

1919 was the year our 19th Amendment passed Congress and the The Treaty of Versailles was signed.
