I have recently wrote a book on XVIIIth century french sugar sifting spoons (ISBN 2 85056 725 6). The book was published on the occasion of a first exhibition which took place in the Zilvermuseum Sterckshof in Antwerp, Belgium and lasted over 3 months, from 3/16 to 6/20 , 2004. Altogether there were 135 pieces from the XVIIIth and 25 from the XIXth. There will be another similar exhibition next year in Niort, France.

I want to get these exhibitions known by American and Canadian museum curators, who could be interested to welcome an exhibition at their museums as well.

I hope that, if there are any such curators in the forum they will get this info, otherwise what to do?

Hello, Bilgi. Welcome to the forums and thank you for letting us know about this exhibition. How is the catalog being distributed and can you tell us more about the upcoming exhibit in France (when, where, etc.)?

Hi June,
The book is actually sold out at the editor, but some booksellers have still some. I believe that in the US, perhaps among others, it is distributed by
Michael Shamansky, Booksellers

Regarding the future exhibition: It will take place at the Bernard d'Agesci museum in Niort, France mid next year but the date is not yet settled.
Best,
