Thursday, May 4, 2006 p.m. Caring For Silver with Museum conservator Shelly Reisman Paine from the Frist Center. A seminar on the conservation of silver, how to clean and store it as well as a gallery walk through of the Marvelous Martele Exhibit. Sunday, May 7, 2006 A Curators Perspective-The American Art Nouveau Revisited. John Keefe, Curator of Decorative Arts at the New Orleans Museum of Arts, will discuss "the critical reevaluation of Art Nouveau through the remarkable Shelton Collection" currently on exhibit. Art Making in the Grand Lobby Wednesday, May 17, 2006 10 am- 5:30 pm All day on Wednesdays at the Frist Center, visitors may participate in a guided art-making activies including Etching your own Martele inspired masterpiece.
