Silver Salon Forum members are invited to the following special event at The Museum of the City of New York. Be sure to RSVP.

The Museum of the City of New York will celebrate the publication of its two-volume catalogue of its precious metals collection entitled Elegant Plate: Three Centuries of Precious Metals in New York Thursday evening, 21 September 2000. The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Museum auditorium where catalogue essayists Kristan H. McKinsey and Gerald W. R. Ward will join publication editor and Museum Decorative Arts Curator Deborah Dependahl Waters in the presentation of slide talks about distinctive aspects of the collection and New York silver generally. A book signing and reception will follow in the Museum Rotunda, and the companion exhibition will be open for viewing. The exhibition closes Sunday, 24 September 2000.
