Dear Friends,

Here is an advertisement from Godwin & Son that appeared in the Illustrated London News for April 16, 1892.
Apparently, Mappin & Webb's also had illustrated advertisements in this periodical, at about this time, and I will post some, if I still have the room.

Dear Friends,

I tried reading the advertisement that I posted (Godwin and Son) and could not read the small print. I printed it and still could not read the fine print.

Many of them cover an area about 8 1/2 by 11 inches, and shrinking them to an illegible size is not very useful to anyone.

Recently, Scott helped me with the file sizes, hopefully, everyone will be able to enjoy these interesting and informative advertisements from the past.
