While your listing didn't specify that you wanted to learn about silver, one would assume so by virtue of the fact that you left a posting. Is there any specific aspect of silver that you would like to learon about? This website is actually a great place to learn about a broad array of silver topics in the various forums. However, if you want more specific information about a topic, let us know and we can recommend books. IP: Logged |

Hmmm...right now I think I would like to be able to look at a piece and have a general idea of origin and timeperiod (either by look of the piece of marks). Is there anything like that? Or do you have any recommendations on where to start because I am at the very beginning. IP: Logged |

1. Public Silver Forums (open Free membership) - anyone with a valid e-mail address may register. Once you have received your Silver Salon Forum password, and then if you abide by the Silver Salon Forum Guidelines, you may start a thread or post a reply in the New Members' Forum. Private Silver Salon Forums (invitational or $ donation membership) - The Private Silver Salon Forums require registration and special authorization to view, search, start a thread or to post a reply. Special authorization can be obtained in one of several ways: by Invitation; Annual $ Donation; or via Special Limited Membership. For more details click here (under development). 3. Administrative/Special Private Forums (special membership required) - These forums are reserved for special subjects or administrative discussion.
