I recently received a new book on Vermont silversmiths:

Coin Silver: Is it a Vermont Mark? A Collector's Dilemma, self-published by David Perrin.

The book expands upon and corrects Lilian Carlisle's Vermont Clock and Watchmakers, Silversmiths and Jewlers and is copulously illustrated with maker's marks from the author's 40 year collection, adding more than 90 to those shown in Carlisle. Copies can be had from the author:
