This might well be posted in the 20th/21st century silversmith forum, but Janet and Bill Drucker (with Nancy Schiffer) have produced a book that is titled (something like) Georg Jensen, The American Silversmiths--but is really an indepth treatise on the work of William deMatteo, Alphonse LaPaglia and other Americans who made silver for Jensen between 1940 and 1949. La Paglia and deMatteo are something of cult figures (to some poor souls such as me) and both worked in New Jersey keeping the Jensen name shining during WWII.

Saw a copy of the book at the Baltimore show yesterday. It looks great.
