![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is well known that the Chantilly that we are all familiar with is in fact the New Chantilly. For a short earlier period, Chantilly bowl shapes were much more decorative and intricate. This "Old Chantilly" is still around and often can be bought for the price of the New Chantilly. ![]() ![]() We recently purchased the spoon below. The handle is classic Newcastle but the bowl is not. We have a large collection of Newcastle and have only seen one odd bowl; it was clearly made up with a crude solder joint. IP: Logged |
