I am hoping that someone could enlighten me on when Tiffany started using only the 925 mark (not 925-1000) with no letter (L,M,C,T)on their hollowware items. Should one just assume that it was after 1965? Thank you in advance for your help!

It was after 1965 that Tiffany & Co. stopped marking their pieces with the president's initial. I think they abandoned 925-1000 earlier, but I can't give you a precise date.

They started marking 925 sometime in the 1990s in order to comply with European Common Market reqirements.
