Paul S Posts: 32 Registered: Dec 2000	posted 01-11-2004 08:49 PM I recently acquired this piece of Chrysanthemum and was wondering what it could be used for. It is 11 1/4 in long and the blade is 5 1/4 x 2 3/4 in and pierced with seahorses and shells. It�s a great old and heavy piece, and the piercing is spectacular. The piercing would lead me to believe it for fish, but I've never seen a round fish server. Anybody have other ideas? IP: Logged

Have seen this piece type only in Lap Over Edge, Olympian and Chrysanthemum, plus a design drawing in Persian. The piercing design on your server is the prettiest I have seen.
