This mark is on a very fancy, sterling, repousse salt shaker. Does anyone recognize the mark?

Thanks!

Possibly JF Fradley Company of New York, in business from 1866-1936. There mark was a cross such as the one on you piece. I am guessing 401 is a pattern number.

Good luck,

Tom

Tom, I believe you are 100% correct. I found Fradley in my book and it makes sense. Thank you so much for your excellent answer!

Fradley is little known, but made some wonderful chased objects like yours. I had not seen this exact mark before, but I'm sure Tom is right.

Thanks for sharing!
