I thought this was one of the Whiting marks but can't find it. It's on a heavily floral engraved demitasse sterling spoon and the mark on the back is a W with a standing lion on each side of the W. I hope the pictures show. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by standing, but if you mean standing on 3 legs with the rear front leg lifted and the lions each face the W, then I would venture to guess the maker is the Wendell Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Ill.

Oops, I confused myself! change 'rear' to 'far'.
