Hello Again, I was going through some more of my grandmother's silver and I came across a set of 12 small demitasse spoons with a markings on the back that are as follows: "Sterling F.E. Brodie". I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this maker, it is perhaps Southern being that my family was originally from the North Carolina area. Thanks Chris

Although the person interested in this information may no longer be looking in on the forum, sterling silver items markded F E Brodie though few may still be around.

F E Brodie is possibly the jeweler Furman E Brodie of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He would have been the retailer of the pieces mentioned in this old posting. There is a Southern and Carolina connection there at least.
