Note that while the piece is cast, it still has a sort of handmade feel in the bowl. Since these pieces were cast instead of handwrought, they were less expensive (but probably still not cheap) than Martelé servers. I am not sure what the dimensions are for this piece, but it looks like it might be a berry spoon. This and a few other Martelé style serving pieces are illustrated in the catalog for the "Magnificent, Marvelous Martelé" exhibit. IP: Logged
