The handle shapes are reminiscent of many of the Egyptian-inspired designs of c. 1870, while the relief frieze of classical(?) figures reminds of Heller's work of about a decade later. Is there anything in particular that someone can tell us about these great pieces? IP: Logged

The style of decoration on the bowls was used by Gorham throughout the 1870's on higher end hollowware. Below is a piece with similar type decoration on the exterior of the bowl. The handle is made of ivory and it has the same shape as the Angelo pattern. It is 8 1/4" long. IP: Logged
