Ulysses Dietz Moderator Posts: 1265 Registered: May 99	posted 01-24-2008 11:05 AM I don't have a piece of this, but I can remember seeing an incredible (somewhat campy) colonial revival flatware sterling pattern that featured an eagle with outspread wings. I seem to remember it in a catalogue from a retailer dated about 1902. Does anyone know anything about this pattern? IP: Logged
rian Posts: 169 Registered: Jan 2006	posted 01-24-2008 11:25 AM Retailer Daniel Low, famous for the witch spoons, sold a variation of Madam Royale, custom made by Durgin with a very patriotic looking eagle with outstretched wings replacing the frills at the end of the handle.
