Found on a flea market a box with 12 pairs of small salt&peppers. They are hammered sterling silver, dirty but unused and I want to use them as little presents. There are the letters G H F in shields.

Question: Where are they from, who is G H F? I am just curious.

Hope some experts can help.

I believe G H French & Co of Attleboro, MA. They seem to have been in operation in the 1920s and 30s, and I think were bought out in the 1940s.
