[01-0927] Hello all, I have a spoon here that is very confusing. It has 2 makers marks. One is Dominic & Haff and the other is Duhme & Co.. I have identified the spoon as Dominick & Haff as far as the handle, but not the bowl. The pattern I found is Trianon. I can not find anything picture wise on Duhme & co. Can someone please explain this to me as well as what the pattern is? IP: Logged |

You've correctly identified the pattern as Trianon Pierced, introduced circa 1901, manufactured by Dominick and Haff. In this case, the spoon was retailed by Duhme & Co. It's not uncommon to find the marks of both the manufacturer and the retailer on sterling flatware of this era. [This message has been edited by smfc75 (edited 01-05-2003).] IP: Logged |
