I got a set of these spoons in New Hampshire and have been trying to identify the maker for some time. Can anyone help and also provide some information of the use of the spoons?

Hi there,

Looks like they're ice cream forks made by the Watson, Newell Co. Hard to tell without seeing the entire handle, but the two patterns that come to mind are Commonwealth or Bunker Hill.

Thanks for the reply on the "spoons" I am pleased to have found them in a reference book ("Yesterday's Silver for today's Table" by Osterberg...) when I looked up your recommendation of Watson's Bunker Hill. They turned out to be ramekin forks! The exact forks are pictured on page 129.

Merci, Merci!
